New Year's Eve · For couples near or far
Midnight Countdown Kiss: New Year's Eve Card
Pick your city's skyline, write three New Year promises, and send a rooftop countdown. They press and hold to count down ten seconds with you — then fireworks spell out every promise and finish with both your names.
- Slow Sunday mornings, every week
- More dancing in the kitchen
- Say yes to the trip we keep planning
How the midnight unfolds
- 01
Hold together
They press and hold the screen to count down the last ten seconds. Let go and the clock waits for them.
- 02
Promises in the sky
At zero, fireworks burst one by one and spell out each of your three promises above the skyline.
- 03
Your names, then the kiss
The last firework writes both your names, and two silhouettes on the roof lean in.
Made for long distance, too
Choose two cities and the card shows both clocks. If they open it at real midnight in either city, the countdown starts by itself.

Do they have to open it exactly at midnight?
No. Any time they open it, they can hold the screen to count down. If it happens to be the last seconds of December 31 in their time zone or yours, the countdown follows the real clock on its own.
How does it work for a long-distance relationship?
Choose Long distance and pick both cities. The card shows each city's local time, and the first two promises light up over each skyline before the last one lands in the middle.
What should I write for the three promises?
Small, specific things work best — a trip, a habit, a date night. Each promise has room for about 48 characters so it stays readable when the fireworks spell it out.
Will it still work with the sound off?
Yes. Music starts with their first tap and can be muted anytime. The countdown, the fireworks and the haptic ticks on supported phones all work in silence.
