● A 20-second Christmas short film
Christmas Mistletoe Ecard for Couples
A porch light, a slate, your two faces. They drag the mistletoe above you both, the camera pushes in, snow starts to fall, and the last frame freezes into a Polaroid they can keep.
How it works
- Cast the two of youAdd both names and, if you like, a photo of each of you. Pick partner or crush and the default lines change to match.
- Write the sceneThe date and place of your first kiss (or the night you met), plus one line of dialogue. Keep it short, it plays like a subtitle.
- Send the linkThey watch the opening, drag the mistletoe above you two, and end on a Polaroid that says how many Christmases you've shared.
Questions people ask
Do I need photos to make an Under the Mistletoe card?
No. Photos make it feel like your film, but without them each person appears as a warm silhouette with their initial. Names and one line of dialogue are all you need to publish.
Can I send it to a crush instead of a partner?
Yes. Choose "My crush" and the card switches tone: the lower third reads "The night we met" and the Polaroid says "Maybe our first Christmas together". It's a hint, not a proposal.
Can they save the Polaroid at the end?
Yes. After the snow settles, the last frame freezes into a Polaroid with your names, the date and place. One tap saves it as an image, or opens the share sheet on phones.
Does it work with the sound off?
It does. The heartbeat also shows as a pulse and a subtitle, and every beat of the story is on screen, so it reads well in a muted screen recording.
